Description: | A steep, winding canyon through which Highway 72 enters Death Valley. Heads in Nevada, northeast of, and within a half mile of the CA-NV-Death Valley, NM boundary. It descends southwesterly somewhat less than 2000 feet, past Scotty's Castle to the valley floor, ending at the highway junction where a road leads northwesterly to Ubehebe Crater. |
